The Power of WHY

Have you ever wondered why

Blue’s the color of the sky?

How do airplanes stay up?

Why do dogs sniff their own butt?

Why are dinasaurs extinct?

How are rain and ocean linked?

Asking questions, that’s the key

Let us answer them and see:

First let’s look up at the sky

It is blue. But question’s: why?

There’s no color without light

Sun provides it, shinning bright

Let us capture just one ray

Like a wave, a milky way

And inside this one white stride

All the other colors hide

Rays of sunshine come down sly

Bounce off things and meet our eye

Air cells help repelling blue

That’s the color we all view.

People always dreamed to fly,

like a bird, up in the sky

Seemed like fantasy back then

dream was made real once again.

When two brothers of name Wright

Built first plane to all’s delight

Pressure lifts it up the air

Engines help it stay up there.

Now detouring for a moment

Let us visit Mr. Pug ????

With amazing perseviarance

Chasing after flying bug.

Mrs. Spitz and mr. Pug

Bark and sniff each others butts

It’s a greeting, friendly act

All dogs use to interact.

There’s one thing since I was little

I have wondered, thought about

Where are Pterosaurs and Reptors

Like in the Jurassic park?

Turns out dinosaurs no longer,

Roam the world, but question’s

Why?

Some say it was change of climate that they could not live on by.

Others say they all got frozen

Due to time now called “Ice age”

Maybe Asteroid or comet

Crashed on earth, to their rage.

Final question I have to you:

Have you ever wondered why

Sometimes rain water tastes salty

Stings if it gets in your eye?

Turns out clouds are made of water

It can come from Seas and ponds

Salty water turns to vapour

Can you guess now where it goes?

Fluffy clouds up high get chilly

Water temperature gets low

Condensation is the process

Due to which the droplets fall.

There we are!!! We’ve reached the finish

Or perhaps we’ve just begun

You will learn that finding answers

Can be an amazing fun.

Much more answers to be found

In the space, in skies, on ground.

Many puzzles to be solved

Mysteries still unresolved

Seek the answers with keen eye

Never strain from asking: Why?
